People often ask why should we choose you?? I guess it comes down to what sets us apart from other Centres in the area.
Opening Hours
We are open 6am - 6pm Monday to Friday. A lot of other Centres in this region are not open as early, so we are able to accommodate families who need to drop their children off and get to the train, or drive to work or start their day. The 6am start also helps families by providing breakfast for their children.
Long Term Educators
We have had educators working in the Centre for over 10 years. Nicky, our Manager started in 2010 (13 years), Jo, our Assistant Manager started at the Centre in July 2012 (11 years) , and Hayley, one of our Lead educators, started in December 2012 (11 years). Wine, one of our Educators, started in 2013 (10 years), Bek, one of our Educators, started in 2012 (9 years) and we have several team members who have been with is for over 5 years.
This long term team, means we have stability and consistency in our practices. We have long term knowledge and well set systems which ensure high quality outcomes for children and their families. Having a familiar face for you and your child, to be welcomed each day, will help build secure, respectful and reciprocal relationships.
Pedagogical Knowledge
Our team are dedicated to on-going learning and professional development. We strive to be partners in your child’s learning journey and we celebrate their success. We document children’s learning journeys and share these daily with families so that we can collaborate together to help your child grow and develop at the rate that suits them.
Our Environments
We have updated our indoor and outdoor environments to offer children safe and guided challenges where they can develop their skills, practice their abilities and celebrate their triumphs. Our environments are designed to facilitate both family grouping times, small and large group exeriences and times where children can sit quietly and reflect.
Incursions
We have several opportunities for children to discover exciting and fun learning with external companies bringing the learning experiences to the Centre. We explore things like yoga, bush kindy and several others.
