Our Rooms
Our facilities, resources and spaces are designed to make the transition from home to childcare a calm and exciting time for you and your child! We have five age groups at the centre, including an approved Queensland Kindergarten program.
Our classrooms are thoughtfully designed, with attention given to the development stages of each individual group of children. At Bumper Bears, we believe that part of providing quality care is keeping our class sizes small, so that we can get to know each individual child and family and their needs and interests.
Nursery
0 - 2 years [8 children]
Our nursery is an intimate room, where the day and routine is catered to each individual child. Time is set by the child, not by the clock and our Educators focus on building a secure attachment with each child.
Toddler
1 - 2 years [8 children]
Toddlers love to explore, that’s why our toddler room has easy access to both indoor and outdoor spaces allowing for the flexible learning space that Toddlers require, including plenty of resources to explore.
Juniors
1.5 - 2.5 years [15 children]
Our Juniors children are still developing their sense of self and understanding their place in the world. Our curriculum in this space is designed to foster a love of learning and being with others.
Pre-Kindergarten
2.5 - 4 years [22 children]
Our Pre-Kindergarten curriculum has a strong focus on building emotional capacity as children learn to play collaboratively. They have access to their own play space allowing for flexible routines.
Kindergarten
3.5 - 5 years [22 children]
Our Kindergarten room has two qualified Early Childhood Teachers, to maximise the support for children and their families in their final year before school.
